Communication was excellent, and whenever an issue came up, he was quick to respond and genuinely tried to resolve it. That said, I do wish the listing had been clearer that this is a garden apartment, as that wasn’t something I realized before booking. The building is older, and there was a noticeable smoke odor at times. Toward the end of our stay, we experienced water leaking from the ceiling. Joseph responded promptly and made an effort to address the issue, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, the leaking caused the apartment to feel damp and humid, making it less comfortable. When the leak eventually began dripping from the light fixture, it made us feel uneasy from a safety standpoint. Overall, Joseph was a great host, but I hope these maintenance issues are resolved for future guests." (6/5)
