Whispering Willow Retreat: 2BD 2BA Nature Oasis

Overall, the place appeared clean, directions were clear, and it’s a convenient spot if you’re doing things around Peoria. 15 minutes to most things. I don’t remember if it is mentioned in the listing but the unit is on the ground floor so coming in the front door means you do have to go down 2 small sets of 6 or so stairs. They’re fairly steep, though. If you’re someone with mobility issues or stairs are difficult for, I might skip this one because it didn’t seem like there was a ground level entrance for the apartment without walking down a grass hill. There was shampoo/conditioner/body wash in the showers that we didn’t use as we brought our own, however, there was not any handwashing soap in either bathroom. When I tried to use the dish soap in the kitchen, it was mainly water and didn’t really lather anymore. The only other observation I made was there were cobwebs with small spiders along a couple of baseboards and in corners. The place appears clean but that gives pause.

After a few issues upon check in, Joseph IMMEDIATELY rectified them and made me feel like a valued guest. Joseph is a stellar host.

Didn’t know there was steps up stairs I walk with cane little difficult. Nice b&b
