Cooperage 214 | Modern 1BD/1BA Loft | Peoria

The Cooperage is a very unique place! It is located in Peoria’s Warehouse District and is walkable to some bars and coffee shops. It is also close to a lot of restaurants and the riverfront. The place itself is very clean and organized. I appreciate that they had toothbrushes and toothpaste as I forget to pack mine every time (without fail). The windows are huge and bring a lot of light into the space. Only con I had is that a lot of the surrounding buildings are abandoned. At night, you do have to be a bit more cautious. You can also hear very intimate details of other neighbor’s lives through the walls as they are very thin. That was a first for me. Other than that, it was a good stay!

Very nice loft. In fact, I booked it for an additional 3 months. The keurig wasn’t working on my arrival and they replaced it in one day. Location is just on the periphery of the revitalized downtown. Easy to walk to. It has downtown/loft character which is great with huge windows. The floor creak a bit due to the vintage of the warehouse feel. Neighbors can be heard through walls, but overall building is quiet. Kitchen is reasonably equipped - could use a few more things for a longer stay (larger frying pan, toaster), but it has everything you need for a stay. Quaint, quiet, well lit. Having washer/dryer in unit is great. Very safe entryway with keyless fobs for outer door and elevators.

Always a great stay! Always clean and will stay again!
